Ticket Policies
Ticket Central sells tickets to hundreds of events each year. The following policies help us to ensure a great experience for all of our patrons.

Payment Options
As of August 1, 2022, the university will no longer accept cash. In response to feedback over the past several years, we invested in our technology infrastructure to increase our flexibility to accept electronic payments. American Express, Mastercard and VISA credit and debit cards are accepted.
Discounts
Discounts vary by event. Discounts are offered to senior citizens (age 60+), NC State faculty/staff, NC State students, and students at other schools. For questions about discount availability or group pricing, please contact ticketcentral@ncsu.edu.
Refunds
If a performance is canceled or if you get sick, your tickets will be fully refunded.
Exchanges
Exchanges vary by event. If allowed, exchanges must be processed in advance of the performance date printed on your ticket. No money will be refunded for tickets of lesser value. Customer must pay the difference for higher value tickets. Contact ticketcentral@ncsu.edu with exchange requests.
Reservations
Payment must be made at the time an order is placed. No unpaid reservations are accepted.
Tickets may be delivered digitally via email or held in reservations to be picked up at will call the night of the performance, beginning one hour prior to curtain.
Sales Tax
Ticket Central will assess and remit a 7.25% tax on every ticket to the state of North Carolina.
Service Fees
No fees will be assessed on tickets purchased in person at the box office. One $4 handling charge will be placed on all phone and online orders. Online orders will be assessed per ticket fees.
Accessibility Requests
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, NC State will honor requests for reasonable accommodations made by individuals with disabilities. Please direct accommodation requests to ticketcentral@ncsu.edu.
Children
Regardless of age, everyone must have a ticket. Parents should exercise discretion deciding which events are appropriate for their children.
Late Seating
Late seating is not guaranteed and may or may not occur at the discretion of the theatre staff.
Cell Phones
All mobile phones and pagers must be silenced before entering the theatre. Please no text messaging!
