NC State LIVE: Work-in-progress sharing by Murielle Elizéon and Shana Tucker of a new work commissioned by NC State LIVE (When We Were Queens…). 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at VAE Raleigh.

The Crafts Center: Jillian Sortore: Plume exhibition opens.

Gregg Museum of Art & Design: Art History and Aldwyth. Join exhibition curator Mark Sloan on a guided tour to discover the art historical references and inspirations embedded within the intricate collages in This is Not: Aldwyth in Retrospect. 6 p.m.

Thursday, May 25

Gregg Museum of Art & Design: Morning yoga. In partnership with Hillsborough Street neighbors at the Alexander Family YMCA, the Gregg will offer free morning yoga in the museum’s main lobby. 10 a.m.

Gregg Museum of Art & Design: Self-guided slow-looking experience. The museum will remain open until 8 p.m. to provide space and time for visitors to participate. “Slow-looking” guides and gallery stools will be available at the front desk for all participants beginning at 6 p.m.
