Artist Panel: Selling Your Artwork. With the Student Art Sale approaching (April 21), Maria Frati and Sabrina Hurtado will talk about their careers as artists and answer questions about selling your work at the sale. Free pizza! This one-hour professional development session will take place at the Crafts Center at 6:30 p.m. RSVP required.

The Crafts Center: What’s Your Word? The Women’s Center partners with the Crafts Center to present a Women’s HERstory Month event where you will participate in meaningful dialogue, share issues and experiences, and learn a new skill as you explore your creativity and craft.

Writing an Artist Statement: The Arts Outreach and Engagement office will host a virtual artist statement workshop, led by art history faculty member Alexis Clark. This workshop will be especially beneficial to students planning to submit work for the annual Student Art Sale, but the workshop is open to all students, faculty and staff. Clark will provide the context for and the history of artist statements and let participants craft their own statements with the option to share them. 5:30 p.m.
