After Miriam Bailey Gardner was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s, her husband Bill assembled a scrapbook of her life, so that their children would more fully understand Miriam’s personal and professional accomplishments. As John McIlwee nears his retirement in June after three decades with the University Theatre program, alumni and patrons are gathering to double the John C. McIlwee Endowment by raising $100,000. Roy Cromartie and Paul Fomberg are leading the effort with a $25,000 commitment.
